Day 01: Arrival Mumbai (No Meal)
Meeting & assistance on arrival
and transfer to hotel. CHECK-IN 1400 HRS. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai (B)
After breakfast proceed to visit
1200 years old Elephanta Caves (Monday closed) across the harbour.
Also visit Gateway of India (Monday closed) which is the landmark of Bombay and
was before the advent of air travel, the only gateway to India. It was built to
commemorate the visit of King George and Queen Mary to India in 1911. Later
drive along Marine Drive, the sea - Front Boulevard. It is also known as the
Queen’s Necklace. Also visit Dhobi Ghats a huge open-air laundry, which makes
an interesting viewing.
Later visit Mani Bhawan
(Gandhi Memorial), the house where the Father of the Nation stayed on during
his early visits to the city. The room, in which Gandhi stayed, preserved as it
was, and the scenes of Gandhi’s life in photographs and models are of special
interest. Later visit the Prince of Wales Museum (closed on Mondays)– gothic
and Moorish architecture in the striking confluence of styles that came to be
known as Indo-sar
scenic. It boasts of a significant collection of Indus valley artefacts
some of them dating back to more than 5000 years. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Flight Mumbai – Delhi / Drive Delhi - Agra around 4 hrs drive) (B)
breakfast, transfer to airport to board the flight for Mumbai.
& assistance on arrival and drive straight to Agra. On arrival transfer to
hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Agra – Delhi (around 4 Hrs) (B)
After breakfast, check out and
proceed to visit Taj Mahal & Agra Fort.
Taj Mahal : You will visit the majestic
marble edifice, Taj Mahal. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan
built the Taj
in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj
the epitome of love and romance stands on the banks of river Yamuna. The
architecture is considered as the finest specimen of Mughal style of
architecture. The architecture is highly inspired from different styles of
architecture, which includes Persian, Indian and Turkish. Taj
architecture is truly splendid and one of its kind in the world. The design
& layout of Taj Mahal never fails to enrapture
architects, engineers, historians as well as common man. (Closed on Friday).
Agra Fort : is among the finest
examples of the fusion architecture that has dominated the Mogul period. The
assimilation of these different styles has given the buildings within the fort
a distinctive look. To name a few, for example, the Jahangir Palace built by
Akbar is the most magnificent blend of Persian and local style whereas Divan-e-Aam
mixes subtleness of Turkish exteriors with the complex pattern of Persian
architecture. Babur stayed in the fort in the palace of Ibrahim.
After sightseeing drive to Delhi.
On arrival visit transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Delhi – Departure (B)
After breakfast, check out and
proceed to visit Delhi sightseeing.
Visit India Gate (memorial to the
Indian army soldiers who died in` the World War I) and drive past Rashtrapati
(formerly the viceroy's residence) and Parliament House.
Visit Lotus Temple – although the
temple belongs to the Baha’i sect, is open to people of all faiths. Baha’i
religion, an independent, is a very important prayer and meditation tools to
progress in the human. Visit 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its
entire height of 234 ft, and the iron pillar, which is not
rusted even after 1500 years.
transfer to Delhi airport for onward destination.
